Background
I'm Nathan Lim, an aspiring cloud security and IAM engineer born and raised in the Greater Seattle Area. I graduated from the University of Washington Bothell with a degree in Management Information Systems, and I'm currently working at T-Mobile on identity and access management. My focus is building secure, scalable identity systems, from passwordless authentication rollouts to automated lifecycle management. I believe strong identity controls are the foundation of modern cloud security.
Interests
Korean-American, lifelong PNW native. Outside of work I play electric guitar, follow my Seahawks (Super Bowl LX Champs), and use Chess to warm up my brain between things. I read heavily across philosophy, life sciences, and autobiographies. I write long-form deep dives on whatever I'm currently curious about, ranging from AI agents and AGI to hands-on technical builds. Documenting what I learn is how I think.
